Overview
Annual admissions are under the authority of the Director General of the Ghana Armed Forces Medical Services to advertise for qualified candidates to apply for admission into the school. The authority granted covers all procedures for selecting prospective anaesthetist students.
Requirements
- Candidates for the course must be a qualified and registered Nurse (RGN) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Applicants must provide proof of clinical practice (experience) of two years which must be immediately preceding the application for the course.
- All candidates admitted will be required to undergo medical examinations within two (2) weeks of the commencement of the course. This will be carried out by a Medical Officer appointed by the programme, the cost of which will be borne by the sponsor and/or student.
- Candidates who are found to have medical conditions that may not enable them undertake the programme may be withdrawn.
